3 Steps to Attaining the New Gold Standard of
Leadership
The truly great leaders in life and work become so by
causing others to be greater than themselves. After decades of time and
millions of dollars spent on leadership development and mentoring programs,
why is there still a crisis of leadership at many levels of the business
world? By now, most business leaders have learned that their job is to
expand and develop their own capacity, while simultaneously preparing the
next generation of leaders to take the reins. Develop talent, they’ve been
taught. Be a coach. A mentor. But it doesn’t happen all that often. At
least, not in any significant way. Maybe we’ve just been expecting too much.
Steve Farber believes that we’ve actually been expecting too little. It’s
time, he says, to set a new gold standard for what it means to be a leader
of substance and influence: The true measure of your greatness as a leader
is to develop leaders who are greater than you.
In this program - based
on the Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling book, Greater Than
Yourself - he shows that dedicating yourself to bringing others along so
that they can achieve more than you is the ultimate way to boost talent,
ramp productivity and create truly significant current and future leaders.
With this powerful, three-step approach, Steve Farber reveals how your
organization or team can achieve explosive results by encouraging every
leader and employee to take on a Greater Than Yourself relationship for
unprecedented personal growth and productivity:
As a
speaker, Steve ignites audiences with the power of his ideas, and
Greater Than Yourself will show you and your organization how to attain
the new gold standard of leadership and re-enlist in greatness -
beginning with one employee and one relationship at a time.
Extreme Leadership at Work and Beyond
In
this chaotic and extreme age, business leaders must demonstrate an
unprecedented level of passion, determination, foresight, dedication, and
fearlessness. People won’t follow empty rhetoric, but they will respond to
significant, meaningful, and dramatic action. As an Extreme Leader, you need
the ability to influence, the power to transform and the courage to change
the world of your company, your customers, and your industry. In The Radical
Leap, Steve shows you how to use the LEAP framework - Love, Energy, Audacity
and Proof - to do just that - and radically improve your organization and
your life.
The Radical Edge
The Extreme Leader’s Guide to Uncommon Achievement
In this provocative keynote, Steve Farber redefines the conventional meaning
of the word, "accountability,” and takes you to an audacious level of
leadership, by showing how a successful business, a rewarding personal life,
and a world-changing legacy are not mutually exclusive ambitions.

Making the Leap from Individual Contributor to Extreme
Leader
Whatever the challenge at your company - improving customer
service, coping with change, inspiring transformation, improving corporate
culture, recruiting and retaining great talent, building teamwork, fostering
innovation - it all comes down to this: someone has to do something
significant and enlist others to help. Someone, in other words, has to take
accountability. Someone has to lead. And it doesn’t have to be the boss.
Leadership, ultimately, has nothing to do with the title on your business
card or your position on the organizational chart. It’s about who you are
and what you do to change things for the better regardless of your "place”
in the company. In Radical Accountability, Steve will show you four personal
strategies for being the architect of transformation from any position or
level in the company
"Dear Steve…I can tell you first hand that our
audience greatly resonated with your provocative
and inspirational comments…From all of us at Raytheon,
please accept our best wishes as you
continue to spread the word. You have a powerful
message that is artfully delivered!"
"Your message to our Leadership Team was so eloquently
delivered I was left speechless. It
wasn't just a speech -- one way and directional -- but
rather a mantra to live and work by. Your
message about love, energy, audacity and proof hit
home with every one of the folks in that room.
It was tangible and practical and could be put to
application immediately. In fact, we did so
throughout the next day by creating action plans to
implement that energy to create change in our
culture. It was one of the best, if not the best, I
have ever heard. I was thoroughly impressed in
how you made the whole session so personal to Bayer
Diagnostics. Your preparation is
impeccable. I was personally moved and wanted to thank
you for the opportunity to have that
experience, to watch our Leadership Team get ignited.
with passion, and to propel Bayer
Diagnostics to GREATNESS."
"The strength of our leadership defines our success as
a firm, and your presentation on "extreme
leadership" provided our attendees with the means to
become better leaders."
"[Your presentation] was "bang
on," as the English say, extremely effective, and will be forever
remembered by the members who were there. I have
subsequently heard from several members
who read your book on the way home and now aspire to
use the LEAP process in their daily
professional lives."

behalf of The American Orthopaedic Association)
"I'd like to share with
you a couple of the comments we received about your presentation from
our evaluations: '10+++ Unique and humorous take on
leadership. Inspiration in a highintensity
delivery.'; 'Dynamic presentation. Inspiring wrap-up.
Again, this highlighted how
critical our attitude is to leadership. I've always hoped that my work makes
a difference.'; 'I can't
wait to get on his web site. His message reenergizes my thoughts and
hopefully my actions."
"It was an honor to have you among
our distinctive speakers and to experience first hand not only
your message on leadership, but your enthusiasm and
energy as well. Your examples,
authenticity, and humor captivated the attendees and
left them wanting more!"
"Your message of Extreme Leadership was directly
on-target and inspired the entire group. Your
mix of humor and emotion, together with the relevance
of the topic to our situation at General
Mills, kept the audience captivated. Thanks again for
a great day and a compelling message. We
will all remember the key message that you delivered
and its importance to our everyday life both
at work and home: 'Do what you love in the service of
people who love what you do."
