Dinner Entertainment Calithumpians have offered first-rate after dinner entertainment to a variety of satisfied clients in the motorcoach market for over 20 years. The Calithumpians have appeared as featured entertainment from Halifax to Vancouver, and have performed for tourism promotional junkets to New York, Montreal, Boston, Baltimore and Philadelphia, adding a slice of Maritime life to these events. On their home turf, the troupe brings groups from across North America and around the World, a humorous view of New Brunswick, the Maritimes and Canada. Performances can be tailored to the needs and tastes of particular audiences, and vary in length between 30 and 90 minutes, in one or two acts. The current roster includes: NB

whirlwind tour of New Brunswick, highlighting the regions and tourist routes -
exploring the byways and backwoods. Flagship- A comic chronicle, depicting the life and times in New Brunswick’s two hundred plus years through humour and song. Bull
of the Woods-
Tales of woods-lore and wildlife, tracing the old logging ways and
lessons in moose-calling. Downeasters-
A fast-paced tour through the Atlantic region,
exploring the four East Coast provinces’ past and
present characters and caricatures. Maple Laughs- A wild goose chase for the elusive Canadian identity through modern humour and satire. Our combination of lively humour, music and local colour is guaranteed to add style and flare to you tour itinerary. Performances garner rave reviews and enthusiastic audience response. Pacey has developed a series of innovative activities for groups
with a view to offering hands-on discovery experiences for participants. The
activities include: Murder
Mystery- Mystery History - Interactive murder mystery theatre with a history
twist; this is an evening full of intrigue and deception. Especially effective
for motorcoach audiences, these mysteries are designed to be interactive and
participatory. Duration:
1.5 hours
Folksong
Singalong -
Learn
the words and actions to several New Brunswick folksongs that have been spread
the world over in the folk tradition. Songs include a Malecite Welcome chant,
an Acadian boatsong, a Maritime sea shanty, a traditional
Woodsman’s song and the Provincial Anthem.
Duration: 1.5 hours. Heritage
Hunt - Enjoy
an interactive game based on various architectural treasures in old Fredericton,
as your group is guided on a exploratory walk through
heritage buildings and artists’ and artisans’ studios.
Duration: 1.5 hours. The
Military Muster Tour - This
exciting and interactive tour features a day in a soldier’s life in
Fredericton’s historic Military Compound. The tour features the restored Guard
House and Soldier’s Barracks and a chance to try on the old red tunics of the
British Regiment and pose for photos etc. Duration: 1.5
hours. The
Picnic Basket Social - For
that off-the-beaten-track experience let us arrange a picnic
basket social for your group including the gingham table cloths, wicker
baskets and all the trimmings. The lunch can be tailored to your tastes and
budget and the activity includes a tour to an out-of-the-way location for a
truly unique way to experience New Brunswick. Duration:
