Yoga As A Personal Healing
Practice
Introduction:
We are all on a healing journey, a journey towards self-awareness,
towards wholeness. In this experiential workshop, we will travel along the
road towards self-awareness using the breath, posture, meditation,
visualization and relaxation.
Duration: 3 Hours
- Especially suited for people working in the helping/healing
professions.
- This workshop will give you greater awareness of your own being at
all levels, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It will
encourage you to regard your body as a temple, and to practice
acceptance and compassion towards all the different aspects of your own
being.
- In this three hour workshop, you will be introduced to a guided
meditation as well as how to use meditation to center yourself, and to
explore your inner world.
- You will learn the three part yogic breath and how to use it to
create wellness in your body, as well as greater awareness of your
thoughts and emotions.
- You will learn the basic posture - 'The Mountain', bringing the body
into alignment whether sitting, lying down, standing or moving.
- We will look at how you can bring greater balance into your life,
working with the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels of
your being.
- Finally, we will conclude with a deep guided relaxation.
Life Balance Through Yoga: I Honor the
Light Within You
Introduction:
Unconditional love and forgiveness are meaningless until we can fully
practice them towards ourselves. In this seminar we will explore how to
practice compassion, acceptance, respect and dignity towards ourselves at
all levels: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Duration: 1½ To 2 Hours
- Suited for anyone in search of greater harmony and life balance.
- The relationship you have with yourself is the most important
relationship you will ever have because all your other relationships are
reflected in that relationship.
- This workshop will help you discover how to bring greater balance
and harmony into your life by honoring the light within yourself.
- You will learn how to honor your physical body, how to work with
your thoughts, how to use your emotions to gain greater awareness, and
how to follow your intuition - your inner guidance.
- As well, you will be introduced to the three part yogic breath,
meditation and deep guided relaxation.
Adopting An Attitude of
Gratitude
Introduction:
Our attitude determines how we see the world and how we see the world
determines how we experience the world. Gratitude connects us to each
other, it embraces all of life. In this seminar/keynote, we will explore
how to cultivate an attitude of gratitude opening us to the wonder and
learnings of life.
Duration: 1 To 3 Hours
- This seminar is suitable for anyone who is open to new ways of
seeing and living.
- Our attitude is the words we use when we talk to ourselves.
- In this seminar you will learn how to listen to your self-talk, how
to work with your thoughts, emotions and beliefs using the breath,
meditation, stories, affirmations, visualizations and relaxation to
transform your attitude to one of gratitude.
- We will explore how to practice 'An Attitude of Gratitude' towards
all of life, both the pains and the pleasures. You will learn how to
connect and see truth as oneness.
Honoring and Nurturing Ourselves and Each
Other
Introduction:
The essence of teamwork is respect, appreciation and caring. This
seminar is especially suited for organizations and corporations wanting to
help their staff live and work in greater harmony with themselves and each
other.
Duration 1 1/2 - 3 hours.
- Self responsibility leads to personal power and personal power is
the foundation of every powerful organization and corporation. We will
learn how to take greater responsibility for our own lives, nurturing
ourselves and each other physically, mentally, emotionally and
spiritually.
- We will explore our highest vision/mission on a personal level and
look at how it fits in with the workplace vision/mission.
- Through exercises, stories and partner work we will seek to
strengthen the team spirit.
- We will explore the three wondrous answers to approach the true
meaning of life & happiness.
