Harold Taylor,

CSP Hall of Fame Personal Effectiveness, Stress, Time/Self Management.


Harold worked for twelve years in management positions at both Canadian Johns Manville and American-Standard and was a teaching master for eight years at Humber College in Toronto. He started his first business in 1967 and incorporated Harold Taylor Time Consultants Inc. in 1981.

He has been speaking, writing and conducting training programs on the topic of effective time management for over 25 years.

His first book, Making Time Work For You, was translated into five languages and published in fourteen countries. He has written eleven more books. His monthly Time Management Report has been published for twenty years. His hundreds of articles have appeared in dozens of magazines. He has designed his own time planner and organizer, produced a video training program and training instruments, and has developed over twenty additional consumer products - all in the area of time management. Customers in thirty-three countries around the world purchase his products.

Harold has been a member of the National Speakers Association since 1980. He received his CSP [Certified Speaking Professional] designation in 1987; one of only a few Canadians to be so honored. He is a charter member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, and has spoken frequently at National and Chapter events. In 1998, he was inducted into the Canadian Speakers Hall of Fame by that organization.

He is also a past director of the National Association of Professional Organizers and a recipient of their Founder's Award. His book, Making Time Work For You has recently been selected as required reading for the association's certification program examinations, leading to the Certified Professional Organizer designation.
