Chandra Leavitt, BN, CPCC
has worked with people for over 20 years
A graduate from the Saint John
School of Nursing in 1986, she has worked with critically ill and emergency
patients for 12 years. She continued her nursing career by graduating with a
Bachelor of Nursing degree from UNB; obtained a certificate in Mental
Health; has been honored with an “Excellence in Clinical Leadership”
provincial recognition award and continued her nursing career in community
development and working with families through VON. Most recently, Chandra
has worked with Public Health, coordinating the Healthy Learners Program
specializing in health promotion and working with young people.
Chandra believes that every
individual has the strength and ability to be successful and fulfilled in
their lives. As a graduate from the Coaches Training Institute, an
International Coach Federation Accredited Coach Training Program, Chandra
invites you to explore the life coaching process which will move you forward
to achieve a vast array of goals with the relationship you have with
yourself, your family members and your career.

Chandra is currently affiliated with The Advanced
Coaching Course in the Academy for
Family Coach Training that teaches specialized coach
training for professionals who work with teens, young adults, parents and

The International Coach Federation
(ICF) is the primary body representing coaches around the world. It has over
5,000 members in thirty-five countries. The ICF maintains certification
standards for personal and business coaches, and strives to protect the

The Coaches Training Institute (CTI)
is the premiere training organization for the coaching profession. They
espouse a strong co-active development philosophy between client and coach.
I have attended their sessions in Toronto, Canada and Los Angeles, CA.
Chandra's Philosophy
Young People
I believe that all teenagers seek respect,
want to be listened to; need to be understood; strive to learn
responsibility; yearn to be supported and seek independence. Teenagers that
are allowed to trust their inner wisdom and who are given safe choices in an
atmosphere of respect and understanding will grow into competent, caring,
courageous and compassionate adults. If you are a teen who seeks this kind
of support, being open to a coaching relationship with me will help you feel
motivated, empowered and inspired to have the confidence and self esteem
that you desire.
Parents
I believe that all parents love their children. I
believe that parents who are looking for solutions to improve the
relationships they have with their children are good parents who want to be
great parents.. I believe that all parents want to live in peace and harmony
with their children and those who currently live in conflict are willing to
learn new tools to achieve great relationships with their children. If you
are a parent who seeks to learn new tools to achieve a great relationship
with your child, through coaching we will create the relationship you want
with your child.
Teachers and Youth Advocates
I believe that all teachers and adults who work with
young people want to have an impact on expanding a young persons knowledge
and skills by working with their strengths, their individual character,
personality and identity. I also believe that all teachers and adults who
work with young people know that the best possible outcome is reached when a
trusting relationship exists between them and the young person. If you are a
teacher or an adult that works with young people and want to witness the
